Privacy Policy

Suikaar ("we", "us") provides doorstep tailoring services in Karachi, Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account & contact: name, mobile phone number (verified by SMS code in the app), preferred language.
• Pickup & delivery: area, street address, house/flat number, nearby landmark, and — if you choose to pin it — GPS coordinates of your location.
• Order details: garment type, styling choices, delivery speed, prices, order status, and your order codes.
• Design material you provide: sketches you draw, reference photos, voice notes describing your design, and measurements — including measurements we take from a sample garment you send.
• Device permissions (app, optional): camera (fitting scan, design photos), microphone (voice notes), location (setting your pickup pin). Each is requested only when you use that feature.

How we use it

• To collect, stitch, and deliver your orders, and to assign the nearest workshop.
• To share necessary details (name, phone, address, landmark, location pin) with our riders and delivery partners solely to complete pickup and delivery.
• To contact you on WhatsApp or SMS about your order, sizing, and styling.
• To apply offers such as the second-order discount (verified using your order code and phone number).
• To improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.

Where your data lives

Our systems run on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Hosting). Data may be stored and processed on Google servers outside Pakistan. Address search and maps are provided by Google Maps Platform. Messaging happens over WhatsApp, which is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

Payments

Orders are paid cash on delivery, or via JazzCash/Easypaisa transfers arranged on WhatsApp. We do not collect or store card numbers or wallet credentials on our website or app.

Retention

We keep your account information while your account is active. Basic order and transaction records may be retained after account deletion where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations, and are deleted when no longer needed.

Your choices & rights

• Access, correct, or update your profile at any time in the app.
• Delete your account — see our Account Deletion page.
• Decline optional permissions (camera, microphone, location); core ordering still works.

Children

Suikaar is intended for users aged 13 and above; orders and payments are for adults or with a guardian's involvement.

Changes

We will post updates to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
